In a remarkable discovery, archaeologists from the University of York have uncovered 2,000 ram heads at the Temple of Ramesses II in Abydos, Egypt. The temple, built during the 19th dynasty, was dedicated to Osiris and Seti I, the father of Ramses II, and is renowned for its beautiful decorations.
