Welcome to another edition of the Forgotten Footprints newsletter!

You know what time it is: it’s the end of the month, and we’re here to discuss five fascinating finds that have made waves in history and archaeology.

But before we proceed, let us acknowledge that June has been a hard month, especially in the Northern Hemisphere, with record temperatures worldwide.

So, maybe it’s not a bad time to sit down and unwind with a glass of wine.

Well, I have some exciting news for those of you who are wine connoisseurs. Archaeologists have discovered the world’s oldest wine, dating back nearly 2,000 years.
